• Financial data you provide: chart of accounts, transactions, balances, and the bank statements or reports you upload, including the transaction details, account names and payee names they contain.
• Preferences: currency, decimal places, timezone and organization settings.
• Usage and device information: pages visited, actions taken, browser type, IP address and error logs, used to run and secure the Service.
• Communications: messages you send to support and newsletter sign-ups.

• To provide, operate and improve the Service, including importing and categorizing statements.
• To authenticate you, secure your account and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
• To send product updates or marketing, where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Files you upload are read to extract transactions and suggest categories. Some suggestions are produced with the help of automated systems, including third-party AI processing providers, which receive only the text needed to categorize transactions.

Nothing is added to your books until you review and confirm the import.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• service providers that host our infrastructure, process payments, send email or provide the automated processing described above, under agreements that require them to protect your data;
• professional advisers and authorities where required by law or to protect our legal rights;
• a successor organization if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.

We keep your account and financial data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal, tax or security obligations. Backups are removed on a rolling schedule.

We use safeguards such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most details in Settings. For anything else, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences and protect the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but parts of the Service may not work without essential cookies.
